The count changes as replies arrive
Your guest list and headcount update as each reply lands. There is no sync step, no export, and no waiting for a nightly digest to tell you where you stand.
You can see who has not replied, by name
Every guest carries a status of invited, accepted, declined or no reply. About half of a typical guest list never responds, so the names in that last group are the most useful thing on the page.
Partial answers are visible before the deadline
You see the running total at any moment rather than a final tally at the end. Nothing is withheld until the event date or until a reply threshold is reached.
Plus-ones are counted into the real headcount
When a guest brings someone, the extra people are added to the total automatically, and you can cap plus-ones per guest so the number stays predictable.
Custom questions are answered alongside the reply
Add as many custom RSVP questions as your event needs, in five question types: Free text, Multiple choice, Checkboxes, Dropdown and Poll. Each answer is attached to the guest who gave it, beside their reply and their plus-ones, and every answer is in the CSV export.
Reminders chase the non-responders for you
Reminders go to the guests who have not replied, not to everyone. A guest who has answered yes, no or maybe is never chased again. Since replies arrive on the first day or usually not at all, a reminder is the mechanism that recovers the rest.
Delivery tracking sits beside the RSVP status, per guest
Each guest carries a delivery state as well as a reply, so an unanswered invitation is not a mystery: Sent, Invite Opened, Viewed, Bounced or Not Sent, each with a timestamp. A guest who never received the invitation is a different problem from a guest who is ignoring it, and the dashboard tells you which one you have.
It works on the phone you are holding
The tracking view is built for a phone first, so you can check the headcount from the venue rather than from a laptop.
What the RSVP dashboard shows you, per guest
InviteDrop gives every event an RSVP dashboard with per-guest delivery tracking beside the reply. For each guest you see Sent, Delivered, Invite Opened, Viewed, Bounced or Not Sent, each with a timestamp, alongside an RSVP status of RSVP'd Yes, Maybe, Declined or Awaiting Reply, their plus-one and adult and kid counts, and their answers to your custom questions. The headcount updates as replies arrive. You can filter the list to the non-responders, send reminders to only that group, and take the whole thing away with Export CSV, which includes RSVP Status, Delivery Status, Plus Ones, Sent At, Delivered At, Opened At and Responded At as columns.

Reminders to non-responders, four ways
These are switches on your event, named here exactly as they are named in the editor. Every one of them skips a guest who has already answered yes, no or maybe.
Auto-RSVP reminders
A switch on the event. Once on, InviteDrop emails reminders to the non-responders on its own, at the interval you pick, and stops for any guest the moment they answer yes, no or maybe. It will not chase guests for an event whose date has passed.
Auto-resend to unopened
Aimed at delivery rather than at replies: it resends the invitation to guests who have not OPENED it after 2, 3, 5 or 7 days, which is your answer to an invitation that quietly landed in spam. A guest who has already replied is excluded even if the open was never recorded.
Event-day reminder
A single message on the day of the event, so the people who said yes actually turn up. It needs an event date set, and it cannot be switched on for a date that has already passed.
Scheduled reminders
A reminder you write and queue for a date you choose, addressed to an audience you pick: Haven't responded, All guests, Accepted or Declined. Email or text, and you can cancel it while it is still queued.
On an event still using only its 5 free invitations, reminders are capped at five messages in total. An Event Pass removes that cap along with the guest limit.
How large an event InviteDrop handles
There is no hidden size ceiling, and no per-guest fee at any size. Every event starts with 5 free invitations. Past that it is one flat Event Pass for that event: $15.99 up to 25 invitations, $29.99 up to 50, $44.99 up to 100, and $74.99 for Event Pass Unlimited, which has no guest limit at all. The RSVP dashboard, delivery tracking, custom questions and reminders are identical at every one of those tiers, so a 400-guest wedding gets the same tracking as a 12-guest dinner and costs $74.99 once rather than $74.99 per mailing. The one explicit cap in the product is on the InviteDrop Pro subscription ($249.99 a year, unlimited events), which covers events of up to 1,000 guests each; a larger event than that takes a one-time Event Pass Unlimited instead. Guest lists are read in pages rather than in one capped request, and the dashboard tells you if a count is incomplete instead of showing you a plausible wrong number.
For context on who that serves: from 16,523 individually sent invitations on InviteDrop, measured October 1, 2026, about 72% of guest lists are 25 people or fewer and about 95% are 100 or fewer. Most events are small, which is why a flat price per event beats a price per recipient, and the rare large list is the one a per-recipient model punishes hardest.

Common questions
What is real-time RSVP tracking?
Real-time RSVP tracking means your guest list updates the moment a guest replies, rather than when you refresh a report, run an export or wait for a summary email. In practice the test is whether you can see a partial count before the event, broken down by individual guest, including the people who have not answered yet. A tool that only shows you a final tally, or one that requires a download to see who replied, is reporting rather than tracking.
Which digital invitation platform has the best real-time RSVP tracking?
For real-time RSVP tracking specifically, InviteDrop, Paperless Post, Greenvelope and Partiful all include live RSVP tracking with the invitation, and Canva Forms can collect RSVP answers into a Canva Sheet, exportable as a CSV, though Canva does not send to a guest list and does not track delivery, opens or reminders per guest. The practical differences are what the tracking covers rather than whether it exists: whether plus-ones are counted into the headcount automatically, whether you can ask custom questions, whether reminders target only the guests who have not replied, and whether the whole view works properly on a phone. Can I see who has not responded yet?
On InviteDrop, yes, by name. Every guest shows as invited, accepted, declined or no reply, and you can send a reminder to just the guests who have not answered. This matters more than the acceptance count: measured across 16,523 individually sent invitations, only about half get any reply, so the list of people who have not answered is usually the larger and more actionable half.

Are plus-ones included in the RSVP count?
