How It Works
Sending a digital invitation is easier than you think. Here is the whole thing, start to finish, in plain English.
Pick a design you love
Go to invitedrop.com and browse the cards. Birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and more. Click any card to see it up close. You don’t need an account to look around.
Put your own details on it
Click or tap any line of text on the card and type over it. Change the name, the date, the time, the place — anything. What you see on the screen is exactly what your guests will see.
Add your guest list
Type in each guest’s name with their mobile number or email address. Inviting a couple or a whole family? Put them together as one entry — they share one invitation, and it only counts as one invite.
Press send
Choose text message, email, or both. Every guest gets their own personal link. Prefer to do it yourself? You can also copy a shareable link and paste it anywhere — WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, a group chat. You can send to everyone at once — no printing, no stamps, no addresses.
Your guests reply with one tap
When a guest taps their link, an envelope opens on their screen to reveal your invitation. They tap Yes or No and say how many people are coming. They don’t need an app, an account, or a password.
Track your RSVPs
Your event page shows who said yes, who said no, and who hasn’t answered yet, with a running headcount. You can send a friendly reminder to anyone who hasn’t replied.
How invites are counted
One invitation sent = one invite, no matter how many names are on it. “John and Mary” sent to one phone number is one invite. “The Smith Family” is one invite. When they reply, they tell you exactly how many people are coming, so your headcount is always right. Most parties of 40–50 people need only 20–30 invites.
Honest pricing, no surprises
Your first 5 invitations on every event are free, with no ads and no watermarks. Need more? One simple one-time Event Pass covers your whole event. It is a single payment for that one event — an Event Pass is never a subscription.

Common questions
If one invitation has two names on it, does it count as one invite or two?
One. An invite is counted per invitation sent, not per person named on it. A couple or a family sharing one invitation counts as a single invite, and when they RSVP they tell you how many people are coming.
Do my guests need to download an app or create an account?
No. Guests just tap the link in their text message or email, see your invitation, and reply. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Can I send invitations by text message?
Yes. Add a guest with their mobile number and InviteDrop sends the invitation to them as a text message with their own personal link. You can also send by email, or mix both.
